Business networks & Wi-Fi

An unreliable network can look like a cloud problem, an application failure, or a slow computer. SyncrionIT reviews the path between users and their systems before recommending new hardware or a larger internet plan.

Identify where the connection breaks down

We compare affected and unaffected users, wired and wireless behavior, locations, timing, and the applications involved. A problem that follows one device needs a different investigation from a fault affecting the entire office at the same time.

The agreed review may include the internet handover, firewall, switches, access points, addressing, DNS, remote access, and cabling dependencies. Findings distinguish what has been observed from what still needs testing.

  • Intermittent access and connection troubleshooting
  • Firewall, switching, and network configuration
  • Wi-Fi coverage, capacity, and guest access
  • Network segmentation and remote access
  • Network diagrams, configuration records, and vendor coordination

Design for the work and the devices

Coverage is only one part of Wi-Fi planning. The layout, construction, device capabilities, expected concurrency, and applications influence the design. An access point placed for convenience may not serve the rooms where people actually work.

Company, guest, and specialist devices may need different access boundaries. We document which systems must communicate and which should remain separate, then test the approved design against representative workflows. Building surveys or specialist cabling can be separately arranged where needed.

Make future troubleshooting easier

The completed work should leave an understandable network map, known administration ownership, and a record of meaningful configuration choices. That helps the business and its support providers make later changes without rediscovering the environment.

Changes to internet service, firewall rules, or network segments are planned around the agreed working window and a recovery approach. A faster speed-test result alone is not the acceptance criterion; reliable access to the required business systems is.

What the business receives

The written estimate confirms the deliverables for your engagement. Depending on the agreed scope, these include:

  • Documented symptoms and agreed findings
  • An approved network change or deployment plan
  • Validation of the affected business workflows
  • Network and administration handover records

Before we start

A short description is enough for the initial conversation. The following information helps define the work; you do not need to have every answer ready.

  • Affected rooms, devices, applications, and times
  • Current internet and support providers
  • A floor plan or available network records
  • Upcoming changes in staffing, layout, or location

Project work starts with a written estimate. Changes to the approved scope are discussed before additional work proceeds. View pricing.

Scope & expectations

Hardware, internet services, electrical work, construction, and specialist cabling are separately approved. No wireless coverage or performance guarantee is made without an agreed design and validation scope.

Common questions

Will a faster internet plan fix slow Wi-Fi?

Not necessarily. The constraint could be wireless coverage, congestion, a device, internal configuration, or the application itself. The first step is to identify which part of the connection is limiting the workflow.

Can we keep our existing network equipment?

Where it is suitable, supportable, and compatible with the agreed design, yes. Replacement recommendations should explain the specific limitation they address.

Can network work be done remotely?

Some configuration and troubleshooting can be remote. Physical faults, equipment installation, and location-dependent wireless testing may require a scheduled visit or coordination with an on-site party.
